For over 40 years, Preston Car Trim has delivered expert vehicle upholstery and interior repairs for cars, camper vans, tractors, and more. As an independent business, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern materials to restore, upgrade, and personalise your vehicle’s interior to the highest standard.

Preston Car Trim has been a trusted name in vehicle interior repairs and custom upholstery since 1979. The business began in a small workshop on Friargate in Preston, building a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship and friendly, personal service.

In 1988, Roy Cooper took over the business, and by 1995 he had moved it to larger premises at the south end of Preston to meet growing demand. For decades, Preston Car Trim became known throughout Lancashire and the North West for delivering excellent results at reasonable prices.

When Roy retired in October 2021, the business was purchased by its current owner, who moved it to a larger, modern workshop alongside their main business, Amtrim Ltd. This new facility provides the space, tools, and resources needed to take Preston Car Trim’s work to the next level while preserving the values and attention to detail that have been its hallmark for over 40 years.

Today, we remain an independent business with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We work on a wide range of vehicles, including:
